"She realized she was lucky - because she could actually see it - how the trees got more beautiful each year...how they danced with such graceful pride, surviving each season's change...and she knew their beauty lied not in the perfection, but the growth...and she could see it - in the trees, the people around her, and some days, even in herself...and so she would dance" ~Jodi Hills

Biscuits and onions
I really want to remember this, so I'm blogging about it. The other day JuLee came over to visit. JuLee is one of my old Laurels. She's great, and I love that she wants to come hang out with me and my kids. Anyway, I started making dinner while she was here. I was sauteeing some onions and mushrooms to go with our turkey and noticed something strange. It was a dog biscuit that one of the kids must have put into the mushroom container. We laughed really hard, and I removed the bone and didn't say a word to any of my kids or my husband. They still don't know, and I suppose they won't know until they read this blog, which, for the most part, they don't! Hahahahahaaaa! JuLee thinks I'm awful, and I just think it's funny. My kids have eaten dog biscuits before, so I didn't think it was that big of a deal.
