Yesterday was Billy's 39th birthday. We had our usual family get together. Alex made Billy a trifle (wow!) and we hung out and watched Just For Laughs videos on youtube. When we sang Happy Birthday my heart swelled with gratitude. You should have heard us! I felt so happy that we have such a large family, so near to each other. And I watched Mom while she sang to Billy and I watched Billy while he beamed at everyone singing. Mom has been a mother for 39 years. That is a long time. She's a wonderful mother. Our family is so blessed to have Dad and Mom to lead us. They've taught us well, and they've brought so many blessings into our lives.
Happy Birthday Big Brother! Next year it all goes down hill. ;)
