The other night we turned on the fireplace...you can't see it in the picture, but all of the kids looked so cute sitting in front of it enjoying the heat, so I had to take a picture.
Nicole on her birthday with a gift from her birthmother. She looks so beautiful in this photo, I had to include it. And don't you love what "Nicole" means? Happiness; Victory. I've been thinking about that this past day. She brought so much happiness into our lives after many years of struggle and sorrow....and her birth was also a victory. Her birthmother gave us our first blessing of parenting and that was a victory for us. We had always believed we could overcome infertility in one way or another, and we did, thanks to Jyl. We are so grateful!
Nicole was excited about the packages that came from Virginia...she wore this shirt yesterday, and she let Heidi wear one of the other ones. I love how Nicole shares. She's a GREAT sister.
elaine i love to look at your blog because not only are your kids stinkin cute, but i am always amazed at how HAPPY they are! seriously, just scroll through and every picture has smiles spread across it- thats a beautiful thing!!!
