Heidi is 8!

I feel like such a crummy mother.  Sweet Heidi turned 8, and I don't have a quilt for her like I did for Nicole.  The first kid gets it all, and the rest get the shaft.  :(  I have some material for her quilt, but it's not even pieced.  She has asked me several times when I'm going to start on it, and I am so busy, the only way I could do it would be to lose sleep...and I'm a crummy mom when I'm tired.  I guess I'm crummy either way.

Ah!  I'm sorry, this is supposed to be a happy post, because Heidi had a great day, and she's decided to get baptized.

The thing I love about Heidi is her simplicity.  Her birthday list was the cutest thing EVER.  She wanted:  vitamins, tic tacs, a first aid kit, a puff-ball with powder for her face, a pillow pet and some gum.  She got everything she wanted, and more.  We had a fun birthday party.  Can you see how happy she is to have her tic tacs?  I have more pictures, but they're on my camera, so I'll need to blog about this again.

Heidi will be baptized at 10 am on October 9th at the Swallow chapel in Fort Collins.  If you can come, we'd love to have you there.  :)

Happy Birthday Heidi.  I LOVE YOU BABY GIRL!

  2. Happy late birthday Heidi! As I was reading this I was thinking about our camp trip to the hp cabins, and Brayden and Heidi as little babies in their cribs. I can't believe how fast time has gone. The sadest thing is that we haven't been able to share more of those memories lately. We sure miss the Curry family.
