I want to remember today. It was a great day. Actually, we're coming off of 3 really, really great days. We're learning how to work with each other a little better. We're increasing our patience with each other. We're starting to enjoy the journey. We actually started school before 8 today because Daddy left early for work. We changed it up and did history first. We were almost done by lunchtime, and took a really long "recess".
The kids did their spanish lessons in the kitchen while I cleaned - I'm becoming a better multi-tasker! The state of our home has steadily gone down hill as other things have filled our time, so it felt wonderful to get the kitchen cleaned, the floors mopped, and some laundry done.
Today's weather is perfection, and Nicole just left for dance class with a friend. Heidi is playing with a friend downstairs and Sadie and Caz are playing nicely. Xander is out with Grandma and Papa Curry for his birthday get-a-way. Tonight I have a date with my husband. :)
I feel content.
