I can't think of anything else to say, nor do I have much time. I was up at 3:30 this morning, a bit panicked....we are on such a steep learning curve here. One thing I've learned: you can never truly understand or truly imagine what something will be like until you do it. I really thought I had at least some small idea of what it would be like to school at home......not even close!
It will come together, I don't doubt that.
To mention a few "worth it" moments of the last 3 days: Cassidy's self portrait (art), history with Heidi, and reading stories with Nicole on the couch, and of course our first "field trip" to see Grandma and Papa's new horse Teton and then swimming afterwards. I'm really looking forward to Elitch Gardens tomorrow with Sean, Nicole and Heidi. Who needs school on a Friday? :)

ReplyDeleteWe're not doing school on Fridays, other than field trips and crafts. I think that's going to be my key to survival.
Field trips are always fun...and I'd love it if we didn't have school on Friday's either! Can't wait to hear more...
