This morning I went outside and the air smelled a little crispy, felt a little icy, reminding me that summer is almost over. I loved the moment and almost immediately my mind went to scarves and sweaters. The other day Cassidy asked me when it was going to snow again, and I told her, "Not for a long time" but I guess it's closer than that. I'm excited.
We spent the afternoon at Alex's place, eating good food and making good memories. The kids climbed the apple trees, we ate the apples and had a good time. I want to remember this day.
Oh how I wish this is how my day started off. It has been SO hot here, and with no air conditioning, and no breeze from outside, we have pretty much been melting. I can't wait to hear how homeschool goes! I love the site confessionsofahomeschooler.blogspot.com, if you haven't already heard about it. It's great! We were in Colorado for a family vacation this past week & I thought about you all while we were there! Hopefully I will post pictures on my blog soon.
