Fun times

Aunt Bobby and Uncle Cliff came to visit!  The last visit we had we failed to snap a picture, so I'm very glad we got this one.  We love them!!! And we're so thankful we got to see them again. 

We had a lot of fun.  Aunt Bobby took this picture of Caz and Sadie and I really, really, REALLY love it. 

Coley toting around Sadie, as usual.  Nicole loves her siblings, and she serves and plays with them all day long.  If you ask her, she would say she does "most of the work" around here.  :)  I'm grateful to have a sweet little side-kick like Coley, happily helping. 

Papa was twirling all the kids around so that meant Nicole needed to give it a try. 

Aunt Bobby also took this family picture.  We don't get many pictures with all of us together anymore.  It's time to hire a photographer! The family photos on our wall are 2 years old and a lot changes in 2 year when you have small children. 

We had a scare with Mac last week.  He's so old, I keep checking on him to make sure he's still alive...and his eyes were looking really weird and scary so I had my neighbor friend come over (no, not everyone hates us!).  She thought it looked bad, and then Mac ran out after a squirrel.  When he came back in, his eyes looked perfectly normal!  I took him to the vet and they said "conjunctivitis".  Say what?  Disappearing conjunctivitis?  Anyway...we've been giving him benadryl and eye cream, and he looks a bit better, but still.  I'm a little worried....here he is being playful.

This is my favorite picture of the day.  The kids were having so much fun playing with Pap...and this picture sort of captures one of those moments.  My kids don't realize how blessed they are to have both sets of grandparents right here in the same town, within minutes of our home.  They get sleepovers and dinners and the closeness that our family shares is so wonderful.  We are sort of an exception to the rule (at least where we live, there are not a lot of extended families together) and I'm thankful for that.  

Last, but not least, here is a picture of Teddy, right before his grooming.  He's a little stinky puffball!  Isn't he cute?!
