New family member

So Mom and Dad got a new horse (for Dad).  His name is Teton, but Mom and Dad aren't sure if they'll keep that.  Did you know that Teton means "Tit".  I'm totally serious.  Needless to say, we're trying out different names.  Mom likes Tuck.  Dad doesn't.  I like Teeter Totter, Mom doesn't.  :)  I've also gives suggestions like Tator Tot and Bulls-eye (he's got a bulls-eye on his butt) and Dad suggested Silver...he'll get a name soon, hopefully, before we all adjust too well to calling him Teton.  Mom called him "Teets" once, I think because Keeper is called "Keeps" at times.  Anyway.  There's a piece of Curry history that my kids will love to read about (hopefully).  The picture above is of Nicole feeding Teton.  BIG STUFF FOR COLEY!  She's usually terrified of the horses, but she proudly declared, on the way up to the ranch, "I'm not afraid of horses anymore!"
Isn't he cute?  I really like him!  Keeper is a bit wild-eyed and he spooks really easily.  For example, when we went to see him this week I was taking all of these pictures, and every time the flash went off he would jump.  Every time!  And then I would come near him and he would get antsy because of the camera around my neck.  So, he makes me nervous.  I felt completely at ease with Teton...and I think I'll enjoy riding him much more than Keeps.
Here is a picture of Teton and Keeper together.  Beth took them out of the pasture to the barn because Teton wouldn't go down to the water hole.  Come to find out there is a mother bear with her two cubs down there, and a mountain lion....
I really love this picture of Gramma and Sadie.  Sadie was scared of Teton, but she warmed up eventually.

Here are the kids in front of the barn.  So cute, right?
I like this picture of Diesel and Jack's Stallion.  I missed the shot of them nose to nose. Ah well!
