More chickens!

 Yes, I will be that person.  The one that posts pictures of her chickens, as though they were her children.  :)  I love them!!  We all do. We are having so. much. fun!!  Exclamation points (lots of them). 

 This week we have been digging trenches, running out to the coop every 30 minutes, and building our chicken enclosure. We still have quite a bit of work to do, but we're motivated.  First of all, it's getting cold, second of all, yesterday a hawk flew mighty close to my flock while I was standing outside with them.  We have raccoons, foxes and cats to protect our girls from! 

 Here's my hard working man.  I am so thankful that he is so willing to help me live my dream.  It's not his dream.  It's mine.  And he supports me in by giving all of his free time to building this pen.  I love you, babe.

 We now have seven chickens.  Coconut is new to our flock.  She is Cassidy's. 

 This is Aspen.  She is Alie's bird.  She used to be Ginger, but Caz let Alie have her, and Alie changed her name. 

 The far left hen is Goldilocks.  Heidi's baby.  Then you see Speckle, formerly know as Bob.  Xander changed her name.  I will not be surprised if their names change a time or two more.  Then you see Sassy, Coley's girl, and Marshmallow, Sadie's hen. 

Last, here is Blackstrap.  She is all mine.  I think she's a beauty!
