Chicken Dreams

 Yes!!  This is one reason we moved:  so we could have CHICKENS!!  Our dreams are coming true. Wink.  We got our coop last week, and yesterday we got four full grown chickens from our friend Cyndi. Tomorrow we will get two more, and in the spring we'll get some chicks and raise them, and add onto the coop.  :)  Isn't it cute?  Its made from beetle kill wood. It's super cool and awesome.  We still have to make the fenced in area and "ceiling" so they will be protected from Lolly and other predators, but we're excited to have them at our home. 

 So far we have Ginger (Cassidy's little red hen), Marshmellow (Sadie's black and white), Bob (Xander's black and white) and Sassy (Nicole's red and black).  Sassy really is sassy. 

Little Red Hen is sooo sweet! She's my personal favorite.  Next up?  BUNNIES!!
