***My voice is really low because I've been sick and coughing my brains out!***We are getting settled. It's been quite a job! I'm so happy to say that we turned a corner this morning, got some pictures on the wall, and are almost done with the boxes that are inside the house. Next we tackle the garage. Much of that is food storage and garage stuff.
We did very little school yesterday, and today is quite similar. It's okay, we're adjusting, and trying to get organized. We're quite a mess still. The school room has been a priority for me, since we're a bit behind and I don't want disorganization holding us back much longer. I have to say, I'm lovin' it. I am not shushing the little ones at all! It's so fun that they can run and play and not affect Nicole and Heidi. When Heidi records here Literature readings, she just shuts the door to the den, and all is well. It's wonderful. The one problem, we're freezing. The den is very cold, and we wear jackets. Haha. Today I debated wearing mittens. Nicole's nose is always cold. We are having very unusual weather, and today it's around 20 below with the wind chill. Ya, where did our sunny banana-belt go? Things should be back to normal temps on Thursday. I hope that makes a difference in this room, otherwise we may have to get a space heater.
Here are some pictures. On Saturday it was in the 60's...beautiful weather! The kids were playing in the back yard, trying to catch bunnies. The bunnies are EVERYWHERE! They got really close just by sneaking up on their knees very slowly. Cute eh?
I love this one of Caz. She was all dressed up, looking out the window. It's truly spectacular! And we're always looking for deer or coyotes.
Our dear friends the Clarks came over on Saturday to visit. We sure love them, and we'll miss seeing them on Sundays. Kayla, Maddy and Anna always let Xander and Caz sit with them in Sacrament (they've been sitting right in front of us). We're grateful for their help. There are so many good friends in our ward that we'll miss...but it's only 10 minutes (I keep telling myself that).
Here's a shot from our porch. Lots of wide, open space!!!!!!!! It's truly a weight off my mind. We're happy to be home.
stay warm :)

Oh hey, my Mom and I were wondering..you say you're thinking of getting a space heater for the school room...you guys don't have electric heat??
Erin, come anytime. :) We have lots of room! Sophie...we have heat...it's just that room is cold. :( It's okay, it'll warm up soon enough, and we're just getting used to wearing sweaters and big socks when we're doing school. :) XOXOX
