Halloween

Not in any particular order, but here are our little halloween monsters.
Caz was supposed to be a southern belle (she had the costume), but she changed her mind and chose this little witch at the last minute.  Sweetest little witch ever.
Coley was a darling fairy.  I love how she's not yet into the "tween" costumes, she still wants to be a fairy.  She was tossing around the idea of a pioneer girl as well, but couldn't resist the green wings.
Sadie was Dorothy.  :)  The bows didn't last very long.
Xander man wanted to a pirate at first, but decided on army guy.  I love his cute little smile.
For some reason this picture of Sadie and Nicole just tugs at my heart.  My children are growing too fast.  My heart hurts at times.  I love the changes that growth brings, and all of the new phases and life experiences, but I mourn the loss of their babyhood.
My kids are so darn cute!!!
We had a homeschool halloween party with parade and all.  Nicole insisted because that is what they do in public school. Alie wasn't totally keen on it, but I loved it!  Gotta love Heidi's Astrid pose! Cayden, Damian and Garrett joined us as well.  It was a decent party.
 Parading around the cul-de-sac.
Heidi was Astrid from "How to Train a Dragon".  Look at how big she is getting!

  2. Elaine, I about fell out of my chair when I saw the picture of Sadie - actually all the kids. They are growing so fast. Today I am even more aware of how time flies by. All we can do is try our hardest to cherish every moment. You'll have to fill us in on the moving story - any chance your coming back down here??? :o)

  3. Life really does just speed by and will leave us in the dust if we aren't careful to create those little memories to cherish along the way. We have two grown boys - men now really - serving missions. John and I are so glad to have the younger ones. We would be empty nesters if they hadn't come along - whatever would we do with ourselves! Good thing there is someone who knows us better than we know ourselves to bless us.

Moving -hmmm. Done way too much of that and we are still in Florida! Thought we were on our way to new adventures 4+ yrs ago. New adventures, maybe, but still here. Maybe this next year . . .! Let us know where you are headed.
