Hello Blog, nice to meet you...again.

We are an island.  Curry Curry Island.  And we are a busy island. 

I really want to do better at this blog thing, but, wow, life is cuh-RA-zy! 

So, Sean said something super funny this morning whilst we were jawing in be.  Jawing, like talking.  Anyway, he got up, and he pulled open his drawer, pulled out a shirt, put it on, and the phone rang.  It was Kev.  I heard Sean say, "Hello Mr. W, how are you doing.....I just put on a shirt and said, 'hello, fatty, who had sausage for breakfast'..."  I started laughing so hard, because he had actually put on my shirt. 

Okay, so typing that out, I'm dying, but I completely understand why YOU might not laugh.  I wanted to remember this funny moment.  We were sitting on the bed, reading "The Cedar Post" and the first chapter is super funny.  I read the whole thing to Sean and we just laughed and laughed.  If you get a chance to read chapter 1 - go for it. 

Onward and upward.  We've been enjoying a summer of reading, knitting, cleaning and listing the house...trying to keep it clean, spending as much time as possible away from home.  Dealing with Lolly biting the window-fixit man on the leg (yes, she's protective)...working at our friend's farm...play groups with our homeschool friends...etc. etc. 

Kiddos are great.  Growing and healthy, life gets a bit easier when they start cooking and cleaning and taking part in the family responsibilities.  I love talking with them - they're big enough to have great conversations, even Xanderman.  It's such a good life! 

I'll have to add pictures...some day.  I add lots to my facebook, but I'm not as good about the blog.  If we are not facebook friends, find me!
