Hi friends,

Long time, no blog.  I'm busy.  And I've got so much running through my mind.

How are we?  We're well.  We're healthy.  We're plugging along, trying to find a balance.  The kids are growing.  Today they slept in until almost 9.  ALL OF THEM.  I finished reading a book, I checked emails, responded to a few, perused facebook, made breakfast - all before they even woke up.  Weird.  But nice.  I love a quiet house in the morning.  It takes me a bit of time to un-grump in the morning.

I have pictures, somewhere.  I need to find them.  Let me try, right now.  :)

I have had the opportunity to work on my photography a bit - not as much as I'd like, but I have taken photos of one family and they liked them!  :)  Haha, that is a success for me.  I was soooo nervous!  I have another family photo shoot (actually a reunion with seven families) in June.  Yay.
Lots of family get togethers, like usual - birthdays, Easter etc.  The weather has been heavenly but it feels like the year when we had a terrible drought.
Oh, we're selling our home.  Finally.  It feels like an eternity in the works.  It should be ready to list in a week (and I know, I keep saying that every week).  We have our new windows on order (don't want to have those first showings with two cracked windows and smashed sliding glass door.  That one hurt!  We're also repainting the deck and a few other minor repairs.  I'm ready to get my chickens, among other things.  :)
My sweet Heidi was running around the church last Friday and fell and smashed her face on the pulpit, cracking her two front teeth significantly.  :(  Soooo sad.  :(
My babies - not so baby anymore.  They are so amazing, right?
 Twirling princess.  Love her.
Oh, and we made it through our Shakespeare play.  This is Michael, he played Antipholus of Ephesus and Syracuse.  We did Comedy of Errors, a truly hilarious play.  The kids did amazing and we had fun bonding.  I have to admit, I didn't know how we would pull it off, but we did.  This was a funny shot of Michael yelling, "I AM NOT MAAAAAAADDDD!!"  Haha.  If you ever get the chance, this is one Shakespeare play you don't want to miss.  Nicole was Luce - the greasy kitchen cook chasing Dromio around.  She did awesome.  She is so made for the theater!  She's got the lungs, the courage, and the talent.

  1. So happy to see an update. Your children are growing so much. They're all just beautiful. I had no idea you were selling your house...so much work! I wish you the best, though.
