Makidada
Me and you, us never part.
Me and you, us have one heart.
Ain't no ocean, ain't no sea.
Keep my sister 'way from me.
She came when I was six and I loved her.
I wished she was mine.
I didn't always show it,
but I have learned,
the wish never left my heart.
She shares her gifts of love
with me.
Her gentleness swishes around her
like a fairy princess.
The same as when she was six.
She holds my babies
and feels what I feel,
and thinks what i think.
She sees something in their eyes,
and she cries.
Because she feels,
and sees,
and knows,
what I know.
As only a sister can do.
Us have one heart;
Meshed together by the memories and moments;
The Godly ordinances.
Ain't no ocean, ain't no sea.
Me and you, us never part.
Me and you, us have one heart.
Ain't no ocean, ain't no sea.
Keep my sister 'way from me.
She came when I was six and I loved her.
I wished she was mine.
I didn't always show it,

the wish never left my heart.
